Mint + Peach = Good Enough to Eat

The perfect pair, this delicious palette of cool mint (it reminds me of "Daiquiri Ice", my very favorite sorbet from Baskin Robins) and soft peach, have us eager for warmer weather, flowy fabrics, and perhaps a little ice cream too!

We created this storyboard for a spring wedding we are styling (the bridemaid's dresses are
ever-so-lovely), and thought this might be the perfect, simple statement for this pretty party.

Do you agree?  These soft sorbet shades definitely have us swooning.  What's your favorite wedding palette for the season?

Cheers to March

With the start of each month, I am always inspired to combine my various "to do" lists into one comprehensive list, put more weekend trips on the calendar, and continue to be grateful for the creative projects on the books for the coming weeks ahead.  With wedding season fast approaching and the daffodils already peeking through the grass, who could not be excited for spring?  On my project list this week...getting ready for this bridal event!

I'll be sure and share a little bit of the design process with you next week.  In the meantime, cheers to new beginnings, successes, birthday's, wedding celebrations, friends and family, and a cocktail or two on a school night!

xo,
stephanie

Have. You. Seen. This.

My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding (aka our new scheduled series on DVR) is a TLC docu-show featuring the five-century old subculture of English Gypsies. The show follows the wedding customs, gowns and outrageous fashions of the Irish Travellers. We highly recommend watching, although we promise we wont be influenced by their taste when styling Baltimore weddings!

Washingtonian Bride & Groom Cover

We are so excited that one of the weddings we styled last summer made the cover of Washingtonian Bride & Groom! Many thanks to all our vendor partners and Jennifer Hughes Photography. Congratulations once again Leah and Matthew!
