PANTONE PlayDate - Color of the Year - Tangerine Tango

Yes, the New Year is fast approaching and that means there's a new COLOR in town! That's right ladies and gentlemen (drum roll please) the "2012 Color of the Year" is Tangerine Tango (PANTONE 17-1463).  We are already seeing this brightly colored hue on the runways, in every day dressing, event styling and interiors alike.  I love it together with turquoise (as seen here and here), crisp white and the trend still seems to be pairing it with pink.  Whether you decide to use it as a accent or a focal point, I can't help but think you'll be anything but "happy!"

DRESSING people, parties AND places. Still, best job ever!

Charm City Style - Seeing Spots

I have had this skirt for a few years now and always seem to pull it out in December.  I love the weight of the fabric and find that leopard always seems to be on trend regardless of the season.  Paired with textured tights, a pair of studded pumps and these sparkly necklaces (I bought two of the same design and put them on together), I thought it was the perfect balance of edgy and fun.

Anne Klein sunglasses, Grace pencil skirt, blouse by Mossimo for Target, J.Crew leopard belt, Tahari tights, Steve Madden gladiator pumps, United Colors of Benetton jacket, necklaces and hoop earrings found at Nordstrom, patent leather clutch found at Loehman's

Sexy Soiree - Four Seasons Baltimore

This past weekend I had the pleasure of styling a holiday party (for one of my very favorite clients)
at the beautiful, new Four Seasons Baltimore.  They requested an "intimate, sexy, holiday vibe" and it was so much fun pulling this event together.  Here's what our client had to say about the experience:

"In one word--'perfection' Stephanie Bradshaw.  A fantastic time was had by all!  You are definitely an artist!  With my request of a holiday party that would be warm, sexy, upscale and festive, you surpassed my every expectation.  Every detail was amazing, well thought and worked beautifully together.  You coordinated the evening flawlessly and the event went off without a hitch--for the second year in a row!  Well done to you and your team!  Love ya girlie! ~ Wendy"

Take a peek at the behind the scenes.  It was indeed a transformation...

We started prepping the ballroom in the AM with furniture and floral deliveries all before noon.

My creative team ready to get started on our ceiling treatment.

There are a total of eight gorgeous chandeliers in the hotel's "Cobalt Ballroom" that we dressed with traditional holiday wreaths that had the entire room smelling like the season.
Hmmm, I love the smell of fresh pine and seeded eucalyptus.

After the wreaths were hung (all "eight of eight") our second shipment of florals arrived.
We used a mix of festive linen to help bring the room to life.

Bar, furniture and lighting, check.

Signature drinks are prepped and ready to go...

Welcome to the Four Seasons Baltimore...and MANY THANKS to their entire team!
Thanks also to our vendor partners at AFR Furniture Rental, Entertainment Exchange
and New Legacy, Fleur de Lis Florist, Swank Audio Visuals, and Table Toppers.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
